Hi Harriet, I found an announcement through genealogybank.com I'll send it to you. It does not say Lowell, Michigan. It says Lobdell. Now I don't know if that's a real place or if it's a typo, but it's something else to look for. I found a Lobdell Lake in s/e Michigan, south of Flint. Maybe they called the area of the lake Lobdell.
