    3. The Vermont Tribune, Ludlow, Friday, August 9, 1889 North Springfield 8/9/1889 Hon. W. A. FIELD and daughters, of Boston, are stopping with friends here. Miss Nellie WINCHESTER of Lynn, Mass., is homr for a short stay. The long-continued rain has done much damage to hay and grain. Elder O. E. BECKWITH and elder P. G. LORD and daughter Katie, are in Boston this week. The re-letting of the mail-routes from Felchville to this place, and from this place to Springfield, has caused much comment. Marvin E. BISBEE has the route from Felchville to North Springfield, where he leaves the mail and goes on to Springfield with his team. A. P. BRIDGES has the route from here to Springfield, and makes two trips a day. Fred G. ELLISON has the route from here to Spafford.
