Charlie LESTER badly lacerated the back of his hand, last Monday, at FOSTER & JAQUITH's, on a sand-wheel. It was skillfully sewed together by Dr. HOWE, with ten stitches. The second crop of grass on the Park sold for $3.50, to Irad HART. A two year-old colt that S. E. CARPENTER was keeping for his son Dana met its death in a singular manner, recently. Mr. CARPENTER found it with its neck hung in the crotch of a tree. The last of the up-and-down sawmills has been replaced by a circular, by D. D. WAIT & Son, at their Island mill.
