She was the recipient of a great many lovely presents. Between 40 and 50 were present. Frank Douglass and wife and son, Guy Wilcox and wife, Retta Wilcox visited Mrs. Isa (sic) Wilcox Sunday. A young man from Lester by the name of Edward Sweeney was drowned in Lake Champlain Sunday afternoon. Merrill Gibbs, was a week end visitor at his father's , E. A. Gibbs. Mrs. A. D. Bartholomew of Whitehall and Mrs. Frank J. Norton of Fair Haven called on their sister, Mrs. Ruth Norton, Sunday afternoon. H. H. Howard of Albany is gaining slowly.
