Dr. Mary Platt, the widely known woman physician of Shoreham, Vt., has announced her intention of giving a library to the town and the announcement has been received with great gratification by the people of the town. The building will be erected as a memorial to her husband, the late Dr. William D. Platt. It will be built of brick and while not very large, will be up-to-date in every respect.
