Sarah married my great great grandfather,Abraham Ploof in the state of Vermont on May 17,1858.Sarah Ann Ploof died Oct 28,1887 in Ferrisburgh,Vermont.She was adopted,parents can't be found. Children of Abraham and Sarah Ann Ploof were: Lavina(Lovina)Ploof died May 1864 ae.4 yrs: 3 months Amelia Ploof Sarah A. Ploof Edwin Ploof Annette Ploof died Jan 12,1871 ae.3 yrs Sylvester Ploof Thurlow Ploof 1874-1930 Oliver Roy and Catherine Mear were godparents of Abraham and Sarah Ploof's children. The Ploofs were well known in Vermont for working and living on their canal boat called "White Wing".The Kings married into the Ploof family through Thurlow Ploof(1874-1930)who married Nellie Louise King dau. of Joseph and Clara Bouquet-King.
