Mary Hellen FINLEY was born circa 1872 in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the adopted daughter of Charles P. and Sarah Satira (SPRAGUE) HAMM. I believe her parents were Charles' sister Mary Ann (HAMM) and Arthur Dennis FINLEY. She married William CONNOR (born May 1866 in Saint John, son of William and Martha) 5 Oct 1892 in Pisarinco, Saint John County, New Brunswick. Entry in 1900 census in Milford, Massachusetts, if them, gives children as Charles, George, Helen, and Blanche. 1910 Census has a family that matches the above (I have not seen the image) in Washington County with the surname Emmer (suggested correction of COnnor). Mary's adoptive father's death notice of 1917 states she lives in Vermont. Her adoptive brother's death notice of 1938 also states Vermont.
