Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Mon. May 27, 1940. Page 7. MANCHESTER, VT., May 26--The funeral of George Leo Markey, Jr., two months old son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Markey of Manchester Center, was held at St. Paul's church Thursday. The child contracted whooping cough and pneumonia shortly after his birth. He leaves four sisters, Janice, Carolyn, Barbara and Andrea. Burial was made in the Factory Point cemetery. Rev. J. A. Reedy officiated. Transcribed by, Joan H.
