I looked through some of your other posts concerning this family and it seems that this could be the family you are looking for. However, the dates seem to be a bit off if he was a member of the Vermont conventions in 1776 while his family was still in Lebanon 1773-1784. I believe that he is the son of John and Priscilla (Goodwin) Jones. I do not know who the parents of Mary Knox are however. But perhaps this info. will give you some more to go on. The New England Historical and Genealogical Register 1920 Vol. LXXIV, lists the baptism of a Reuben Jones, the son of John and Priscilla in the Second Church of Berwick, Me. on May 1 1761. Let me know what you think of this and if this could possibly be the family you have been searching for. Can you send me what you have on this line? I would appreciate it.
