Source, Rutland Daily Herald--July 24, 1942. Page 6. MRS. LULU DESMOND. PITTSFIELD, July 23--Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Lulu Desmond, who was found dead in her living room. The services were in charge of Father Elliott. Following the services the body was taken to Natick, Mass., where a requiem mass was said by Father McSweeney in the church where Mrs. Desmond was married to Mr. Desmond. A niece, Mrs. Ruby Wilde, accompanied the body to Natick. The bearers here were Frank Swan, Charles Colton, Lester Regear, and Roland Osgood. Transcribed by, Joan H.
