ORWELL, July 31--Two Orwell brothers, one assigned to a vessel in the Pacific and the other to a vessel in the Atlantic, shook hands in Hawaii recently. The surprise meeting happened when Charles Colette, who is stationed in Hawaii learned that the ship carrying his brother, Francis, had docked there, according to a letter received by the boys' father, George Colette. The brothers were among the first from Orwell to enlist in the United States Navy. Transcribed by, Joan H. Bixby Genealogy not just a hobby, but a labor of love.
