I have found out that, unfortunately, the records we have for the Windsor State Prison only go to 1919. So it looks like after that, you'll need either to rely on the censuses, or possibly find information in the county court records at which the trials took place. Go to http://www.vermontjudiciary.org/courts/superior/index.htm to find contact information. Syliva, Do you have information about deaths that occured at the Windsor Prison? There was a Murphy that died there about 1898-1900 era and is buried in the prison cemetery. There are no records with the Town Clerk about deaths there. Thanks -----Original Message----- From: Sylvia J. I have run out of time to do any more searches before the holidays, and the library will be closed until Jan. 5. Anyone whom I have not yet helped, I ask for your patience: I will help one and all as soon as possible. A great holiday to everyone! Sylvia Bugbee On Tue, 23 Dec 2008, Sylvia J.
