Enoch was born in Clarendon,Vt, in March 22, 1800. His grandfather, Asa, came from Connecticut and was said to be the first white man that discovered Clarendon Springs in 1776. Arima, father of Enoch, was born in Clarendon, Vt. Enoch has been town representative twice. He was married September 15, 1825, to Ann Dyer, of Clarendon, a daughter of Daniel and Susan ((Olen) Dyer. Enoch had five children, Louisa A. wife of Jesse R.Billings, of Rutland, died in 1862; Arima D.,was married November, 1860, to Emma L. Kneeland, of Spencerport, N.Y.; they had two children; Alfred K., and Annie K.. Lydia married Dr.H. F.
