Can anyone connect with the family of Roswell Bonette?  He was living in Waitsfield, VT in the 1900 census (b. April 1853 in VT).  There was a Daniel Cardell living with him, listed as COUSIN.   I connect to Daniel Cardell in a round about way and would like to know more about him and how he is connected (related) to the Bonette family.   Daniel Brown Cardell's parents were John Cardell Jr. ( of Warren, VT) and Lucy Poland (of Waitsfield, VT).  Lucy was from Waitsfield, VT, daughter of John Poland and Lucy Dinsmore.   Thanks.      

Bonnette~~~~!! I wish I could help you, but I don't think I can. My maiden name was Bonnette... My relatives came from Quebec.....Granby area. My grandfather and his brothers emigrated to the USA around 1900.. or so..... Most of them are or were in the Troy and Keene, NH area..... I have not seen or heard from any of them for years, and would not have the slightest notion about how to go about it. I doubt anyone I knew then is still alive, as I was a very little girl, and they were all my grandfather's age!! I am sure there are still Bonnettes in that area,,,,,but I have no way of tracking the lineage to see who might be whom??? I don't have a Roswell Bonnette in my records. Wouldn't know which branch of the family he came from.......but I never heard his name before. And, from the dates you gave, he is obviously a "bit" before my time!!!! Also, he was in Vermont? My relatives were really more in the Troy and Keene, NH area, as I said just above. Do you, perchance, have any other information that might connect Roswell to any lines before or after him???? Or any other families he or they may have married into? Interesting.....but not sure we can connect. But, I'd like to see..
