William Tighe, a member of the supply company at Fort Ethan Allen, visited his parents on Harrison avenue Sunday. Mrs. F.M. Button of Clarendon was a visitor in Rutland Monday. Mrs. A. B. Newton and Mrs. George Mason of Wallingford visited friends in Rutland Monday. Mrs. Byron Hathorn of Barnard spent the weekend with her cousin, Mrs. W. A. Packard, of Maple Grove farm. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Abbott of Springfield called on friends in this city recently. Miss Katherine Sawyer and Carleton Sawyer went yesterday to Andover to visit their grandparents through the month of July. A. B. Fulton of 34 Engrem avenue has returned after visiting in Bradford for a few days. He returned to the city by way of the Cross-State Transportation company's Stanley steamer. Mrs. E. C. Stevens of Crescent street is in Williamstown, Mass.,to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. E. C. Morehouse, who died Sunday. Misses Edna Brown and Margaret Towers of Castleton visited Rutland friends Monday. Mrs. O. C. Arnold of Worcester, Mass., who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Moon of East Washington street, for two weeks,has returned home. Mrs. I. Eckstein and two children, Charles and Dorothy, of Chicago are visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Charles Sterns of Pleasant street. Mrs. W. P. Barnes and Miss Mary Jones of Pittsford Mills visited friends in Rutland Monday. P. W. Lalor of Granville, N. Y., spent Sunday with Rutland friends. Miss Margaret Haugh of Jackson avenue is visiting her aunt, Mrs. M. B. Carvay, in Poultney for a few days. Mrs. Elizabeth Riley and Miss Bessie Riley of Woodstock and Mrs. Park Goddard of Claremont, N. H., called on Rutland friends Sunday.
