    3. Hi, Rachel, I have just been reading this message re 1880 census in Keene, NH. Are there any BONNETTES in that census, by any chance? I am researching that family..... (my maiden name!) I knew some of them in the NEXT century...but not sure if there were any in that area in the late 1880's. I tend to think not. Thanks in advance, Mary Anne Bonnette Smith -----Original Message----- From: vermont-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:vermont-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Rachel Duffalo Sent: Monday, October 06, 2008 9:17 AM To: Janice Edwards; vermont@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [VERMONT] The famous "brick wall" - the Benjamin F. He had sons Peter and Asher (both noted for Am Rev service as well as father) and Eli. Ethan would most likely be a grandson of Peter (1) or perhaps a great grandson. There is more information on all of these men in the History of Rockingham by Lyman Simpson Hayes, pp. 653-656. However, the names of Ethan and Benjamin do not appear there. Mentioned also with this family are Deerfield MA, Northfield MA, Hinsdale NH, Charlestown NH, and Bellows Falls VT. Benjamin lived at one time in Walpole NH. Found in History of Walpole. 1. [VERMONT] Bonnettes in Keene, NH.
    2. MASmith
    3. WOW !!! I am really excited to hear this! I can hardly wait to hear what your friend has to tell me. I am the granddaughter of Edward Bonnette, who was brother to the Bonnettes in Keene. As a little girl, I visited them on Sunday afternoons.... but have lost complete touch with the entire family for years and years. I wonder which Bonnette your friend married! Probably one I didn't even know.....if she is younger than I am. I was pretty young when I last saw any of them. 3. reminder - clean out the messages when you resend an email - I was reminded it clogs up the system. One can go to the list to reread a longer message.
