Source, Rutland, Vt. Herald--Nov. 18, 1935 RUTLAND COUPLE MARRIED 50 YEARS. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. Mabury to Be "At Home" to Friends Today. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. Mabury of 72 Plain street will observe their golden wedding anniversary at their home today. In the evening, from 7 until 10 o'clock, they will keep" open house" to their friends. Mr. Mabury, who is janitor of the Park street school and the former Minnie Clark were married on November 18, 1885 by Rev. C. A. Reese, then Baptist minister in Rutland. Both Mr. and Mrs. Mabury have been life-long residents of this city. An unusual fact of their married life is that they always have lived in their present home at 72 Plain street, which they own. For more than 45 years, Mr. Mabury has been a member of the Odd Fellows lodge of this city. Mrs. Mabury is enrolled in the Rebekahs. Transcribed by, Joan H.
