Nadeau is ill with grip. Mrs. Roy West is a patient at the DeGoesbriand hospital in Burlington, where she underwent an operation Friday. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Wolcott were guests of Mrs. Smith Henry in Burlington Friday. There will be a military whist card party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Harris Friday evening, March 8 for the benefit of the Order of Eastern Star. Supper will be served at 7:30 o'clock. The public is cordially invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wimett and son of Schroon, N.Y., were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs Edward Wimett. Roy West visited Mrs. West at the DeGoesbriand hospital in Burlington Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brileya have moved from Shoreham into Lee Hemenway's tenement house. Mr.Brileya will be employed by Mr. Hemenway. Mrs. Harry Phillips and son of Middlebury were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Newton. Miss Ella St. George has returned to her home in Middlebury after spending several weeks with Mrs. G A. St.George. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Bronson have moved to the H. J. Lapham farm, which they have purchased from Mr. Lapham. Mrs. K. W. Myrick and children were Sunday guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. O.S. Doane, in Burlington. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gore of Bennington have moved into the Fletcher tenement house. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Wolcott were in Rutland Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Coursey of East Middlebury were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Sollace. Mrs. A. J. S. Dukett is a patient at Mary Fletcher hospital in Burlington where she underwent a serious operation last Wednesday. She is doing as well as can be expected. Miss Lucille Newton spent last week in Middlebury where she was the guest of friends and relatives. Mrs. N. G. Nadeau, who is spending some time in Fort Edward, N.Y., with her father, George Long, who is ill, spent the week end at her home here. Transcribed by, Joan H.
