Gilbert Stebbins and Miss Eleanor Hayes of Vergennes visited the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Stebbins on York street over the week-end. Miss Anna Mae Hannan has taken a position with the Cushman Insurance company on Main street. John Manning Towne has been visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Ada Towne at Fair Haven. Edward Vogel of Saratoga Springs, N. Y., is with his mother, Mrs. Harriet Vogel on Beaman street for a few days. Mrs. Margaret Quinn went this week to Long Beach, L. I., where she will remain for the winter with her daughter, Miss Anna Quinn, who teaches there. There was an anniversary high mass of requiem at St. Raphael's church on Tuesday morning for Mrs. Margaret Hogan.
