I'm new to this list, I've been told that Northern Vermont rather than New York State is where I should be looking for some of my French ancestors coming down from Quebec. I'm looking for the surnames of Rochelle, Larochelle or even Gautron dit Rochelle for my Maternal French GGGrandfather Cassimer Rochelle.
