Nathaniel moved to Danville, Vt (from Gilmanton, NH) circa 1796, then into Wheelock by 1800 (census). He had three sons, one daughter and his wife, all listed w/him in 1790c. Sons known: John (b. abt 1770) and Jacob (b. abt 1776/7) wife and other two children: unknown John and Jacob's families are accounted for; however, the parents' burial spot is not. Lancaster's book on Wheelock, indicates they may have been buried across from Martin Sinon's farm. (Found farm, but was unable to find graves.) Wheelock's town records were destroyed in a fire, so only land records (deeds) have been useful. John m/ Mary Rines (of Loudon, NH) Jacob m/ Ruth Barnes (in Danville, Vt) Nathaniel was still listed in Wheelock town records in 1818, selling farm products. His grandson (also named Nathaniel and often confused with his grandfather) moved to Sheffield m/Clarissa Ingalls and raised his family there. Can anyone tell me where else I can find info on them?
