Mrs. Ida NEWTON of Greenfield was a guest at G. P. MILLER's Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Fred COOMBS entertained on Chrstmas day a company of 76 relatives. Mr. and Mrs.Woodburn FRANKLIN entertained all of their children at a home-gathering Christmas day. Fay JACOBS and Phil HEWETT went last week to Torrington, Conn., to spend a week at the latter's home. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman HUNTLEY entertained a party of relatives at dinner, ten in number, on Christmas day. An increase of pension has been allowed William H. TYLER of this town at the rate of $15 per month from Dec. 6. The big snow storm of Sunday has made excellent sleighing and the teamsters are taking advantage of it. The annual meeting of the ladies' society will b held next week on Thursday afternoon at Mrs. George P. MILLER's. The Christmas exercises with tree were held by the Congregational church on Friday evening. The singing of the children was under the direction of Mrs. G. P. MILLER.
