Mrs. George HAMMOND of Dakota is visiting her brother, Geo. M. CLARK. Mrs. Charles STORY, Jr., has returned to her home in Rutland. C. B. WHITE and family were on their farm last wee, doing their haying. Rev. John STEARNS and wife from Brooklyn, N. Y., are visiting with Mrs. P. W. STEARNS. B. F. STEARNS and son frank of Everett, Mass., are in town visiting relatives and friends. Miss Annie PUTNAM of Proctorsville has been ghe guest of her friend, Miss Bertha BALDWIN. Mr. Fred PIERCE and two sons of Boston, Mass., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. PERKINS. The Ladies' Benevolent Society will meet with Mrs. Ellis CROSS at her residence on Thursday afternoon.
