Hi Joan, Because it's early here, I will just make a few comments for the moment. Later in the day I will check my notes (in archives of MA Lists), and provide more details. It was about a year ago that I was looking at my CROSBY line, and I noticed that something didn't look right. Most people had the Simon / Simeon CROSBY who married Lydia H. FROST a son of a family which left Billerica, MA, and headed to western MA. I spent a month checking into this, and it just didn't add up. I posted a lot of queries, and checked a few books, and I'm pretty sure I found the correct parents of Simeon CROSBY. Because of a response to my queries, I found out that Simeon was "of Billerica" when he married in Cambridge, MA. So I checked the Billerica book, and the only possible parents I could come up with had some of their children listed. But, their last child was only listed as "a son." I believe this was also in the vital records. So, it is my "educated guess" that Simeon was descended from "Simon CROSBY of 1600's Billerica," but from a different son - than other people had assumed. I post all my findings on the Lists (and sometimes the Boards). By the way, my FROST line should be in the archives of the MA Lists, also. I think I just mentioned it last fall.
