Can someone tell me how to research Rutland newspapers? Is there somewhere I can go to read them in microfilm or online? I'm looking to find an article describing my great grandfather's move from Rutland to Riverside, California sometime between 1904 and 1907. He was William Supply Nims, his wife, Irene Wilmouth Nims, and their son, Milton Rufus Nims. Thanks. Laurel
Do you live in the Rutland area? If so, the Rutland library has old Rutland Herald newspapers on microfilm. If you do not live near that library your local library can borrow them from the Vermont State Library on interlibrary loan. Joan and Janice, thank you. We live on the west coast about 40 miles south of San Francisco. We'll try in the interlibrary loan. Laurel On Mar 28, 2009, at 11:28 AM, Joann H. Another library that had them on microfilm is the Castleton State College Library - check and see if they still have them. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom & Laurel" <tomlaurel810@sbcglobal.net> To: <VERMONT@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 28, 2009 1:48 PM Subject: [VERMONT] How to Research Rutland Newspapers > Can someone tell me how to research Rutland newspapers?
