Mrs. Rosa Bowman, who has been visiting friends in New York during the past two weeks, has returned. The pupils of Mrs. Florence Mead will give a piano recital on Friday evening at 6:45 at the Proctor library. At the meeting of the Union Church Woman's association. to be held this afternoon, sewing will be done for the hospital. Refreshment will be served. Mrs. George Kassias, who has been spending several month at her home in Hungary, has returned. Accompanying her was her eight-year-old niece. Helen, whom Mr. and Mrs. Kassias have adopted. Carl Peterson, who underwent an operation at the Proctor hospital, is making good recovery. He is now at his home.
