A new hand for burning lime and a wood chopper from Adams, have been engagned at the lime-kiln. The rain storm which began Sunday aftrnoon continued until nearly noon on Monday. The brook, beside which is the road to West Dover, was the highest known for years, washing ice, snow and floodwood into the road in a dozen places, in some instances three or four feet in depth, and taking eight hands nearly all the afternoon to remove it.
