The Vermont Phoenix, Brattleboro, Friday , January 16, 1891 Grafton news Charles PARK and wife from Elgin, Ill., are visiting in town. James STOWELL's bobbin lathe has come, and he now expects to get out bobbins which he will send to Lawrence, Mass. Last Monday night the stage could not get to Townshend because the water and ice had settled back in the road from the brook. The stage-driver tried to go through on horseback but could not. Mr. George WOLLEY died last Sunday. The funeral was held Tuesday and his body was taken Wednesday to Washington, D. C. for burial. Mrs. M. S. WALKER is on the sick list.
