You might have to search the last name NURSE as well as NOURSE. We have several folks in our family tree that are related to Rebecca Towne Nurse (who was hanged in Salem in 1692) and it appears that several parts of the family changed the spelling of the name from NURSE to NOURSE -- so it may be that you want to search both.  I went back through what I have and I have three other Rebecca Nurse's (two are daughters of Francis & Rebecca Towne Nurse and one is a grand-daughter) all were born and died before 1750.  So that doesn't help too much.  So far I've found the records from Salem (Essex Co.) to be very helpful so I would just encourage you to keep looking.Deb
