I use Family Origins. It is very easy to use, allows for scanned images to be added - birth certificates, marriage certificates, newspaper articles etc. as well as photos. It will print a book very easily and I have done so several times. It was originally put out by Broderbund. It is easy to add and delete information and to import or export GEDCOM files.
