Hoping for assistance with finding death record of Josiah Read or Reed who died at Jericho VT in 1831 ~ parents names, wife, children etc would be most helpful.   Appreciate help, thank you Janice New Zealand

Hi Janice: You might want to write to Chittenden Co. Clerk office for this info. I did a search via Ancestry for your Josiah in 1930 census w/no luck. I used REED/READ/REID variants. Also looked @1820 census & found 4 *READ*'s living in Jericho, Chittenden, Vt. i.e. : Ebenezer; Myron;Loutha & Catherine. The 1820 does not show details re wife, children etc. however.
