Update: Amantha also has a first born son named Samuel. Is anyone on this list related to either Samuel Jordan or James Jordan? I see that there are only two Jordan's listed on the 1810 census for all of VT. One is Samuel of Moretown, Chittenden, VT, and the other is James of Williston, Chettenden, VT. My ancestor Amantha Martha Jordan is believed to have been born on 29 Sep 1811 in Waterbury, Cheshire, VT. Do you happen to have any early records which may show the children of either of these two men? Also, she named her own sons the following names which may be family names so let me know if you have these names in your tree.
