Sept. 8--Mrs. Ruth Strong, 28, wife of Kenneth Strong, died this morning in the Proctor hospital after an operation. She leaves besides her husband, a six-year-old daughter, Elaine : her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris Dawley of Ludlow ; three sisters, Miss Alice Dawley of Ludlow, Mrs. Bernard Saulnier and Mrs. Elias Burgess of Manchester, Mass., and a brother, Raymond Dawley, in the army. Mrs. Strong was born in Mount Holly on October 6, 1915. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:30 o'clock in the Cavendish Baptist church, with Rev. . E. Corbett officiating.
