This couple had a son Frank Warren Scribner born Sept 9, 1896, in Calais. I don't know if either of the two marriages would be for the Frank Scribner you are researching.

Was there any other info? I am having no luck locating his birth place. I did get copies of his records from the VT STate Hosp. but wonder if there are more to prison records and if I can or where I can get copies? Thanks so much for your help. 3. No, that was all there was in the records. Essentially, they're just records of when inmates were incarcerated, when released, place of residence at the time of their arrest, occupation, and place of birth. They also give the crime, name of a contact person, age, and some physical characteristics of the inmate. I don't know if there was ever a more detailed record of the inmate while in prison, but it's likely that any information about the trial, etc., would be in the county court records. It's possible that any crime conviction that's appealed might appear in the Vermont Supreme Court records--just thought of that. I'll check those tomorrow. I also want to ask anyone who contacted me about the Windsor prison records, and didn't hear back from me, to please re-submit your query: there were several of you, and I may have dropped the ball on someone.
