Good morning list members: I am looking for a list of town names, dates founded and the county they are in. A long time ago I remember seeing something like that, and now I can't find it, even doing a Google search. Any idea where I might find this info. Thank you Joyce

I don't know about on line, but the Handy Book for Genealogist has such a listing for Vermont. If you have a specific town in mind, I would be happy to look it up for you. If you know the name of the town and just want to find the county, Rootsweb has a search that will do that. Hello Joyce, I have a book called "Vermont Place Names" It lists all the towns in Vermont date founded and other information about the town. I will be glad to do lookups for you.
