    2. Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Nov. 20, 1935. POULTNEY, VT. Correspondent, M. A. Sennett. A daughter has been born at Rutland hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Fenton of East Poultney. Melvin Howard of Lebanon, N. H., en route to his winter home in West Palm Beach, Florida, called on friends in this village Sunday. William Donahue of Albany, N. Y., passed Sunday with his brothers, Edward and John Donahue. Dr. Patrick O'Neill and Attorney Gerald E. Gaffaney of Montreal have been recent guests of William and John Driscol. Mrs. Mary Brough, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Brough on East Main street, has returned to Syracuse, N.Y. James Harney of Fair Haven, formerly of Poultney, called on friends in this village Sunday. Rodney R. Ellis passed the weekend in Burlington. Mr. and Mrs. John Heffernan have returned to their home on Broughton avenue, after being called to Lynn, Mass., by the death of the former's father, John T. Heffernan. The condition of William Jeffrey, son of Mrs. Gertrude Jeffrey, who has been at the Rutland hospital suffering from injuries as the result of an automobile accident, is improving. The Eureka Parent-Teacher association will hold their regular meeting in the North Poultney schoolhouse tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. Transcribed by, Joan H.
