Leo Maynard and Byron Eaton of Camp Devens are spending several days at their home here. Mrs. Gardner Flagg of Glens Falls. N.Y., is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moon. Harold Hughes of Springfield, Mass., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Hughes. (Mrs. Hughes was the former Catherine Rowlands, sister to my Taid, Ellis Rowlands, both born in Wales. Taid is welsh for grandfather.) A Hoover supper will be served by the ladies of the Baptist church in the church parlors Saturday night. A son has been born to Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Minogue. Carlos Hughes of this place has enlisted as a carpenter in the United States service and will eave Wednesday for Waco, Tex. Mrs. Richard Griffith is seriously ill at her home. Transcribed by, Joan H.
