Greetings: For what it is worth, of Vermont's 14 counties, three actually lost population in the Census from 2000 to 2010. They are Essex, Rutland, and Windsor Counties. The biggest gainers are Chittenden and Lamoille Counties. Overall the Green Mountain state gained 2.8% during the decade.
