    3. The Vermont Tribune, Ludlow, Friday, December 21, 1888 Londonderry 12/21/1888 Barnet WAITE continues to remain about the same. As he is 93 years old, few hopes are entertained of his recovery. Until lately he has been in good health and more lively than some twenty years younger. F. M. DEY and family have returned from New York. Last Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. F. E. STEARNS gave a card-party to invited friends. On the same evening Miss Ina WESCOTT gave a party to her young friends. Mrs. L. P. SHEDON is on the sick-list. Mrs. J. H. HATHORN is somewhat improved. Miss Addie GILLETTE is keeping the village school. The llyceum progresses finely. At the last meeting F. W. GIBSON was elected president; W. C. JAQUITH vice-president; Tim HARRINGTON secretary, E. W. GIBSON treasurer. The first shoot of the "Londonderry gun club" was held last Saturday. R. E. BOSTWICK took the first prize, shooting five out of ten clay pigeons.
