The Vermont Tribune, Ludlow, Friday, February 12, 1886 Mechanicsville 2/12/1886 Mercury stood at 28 below zero, Friday morning. Z. B. BABBITT, of the firm of P. E. CHASE & Co., started, last Saturday, on an extended business trip through the West. The festival and sale recently held by the ladies' aid society of the M. E. church proved to be a decided success.
