Tyson 1/4/1889 A sad accident happened at Daniel MACUIN's the 22d of December. Mrs. MACUIN was at a sick neighbor's and Mr. M. was out of the house, but near by, when their daughter Jennie, nearly 9 years old, caught her clothing on fire when putting wood in the stove. Her father heard her screams, hastened to her assistance, and taking her out of doors, extinguished the flames in the snow. Her clothing was nearly burned off, and so much of the surface of the body was burned that medical aid seemed of no avail.
