The Vermont Tribune, Ludlow, Friday, January 4, 1889 Londonderry 1/4/1889 A. S. HAYWARD has returned from Massachusetts. We are pleased to report that the condition of Esquire WAITE is somewhat improved, although recovery is doubtful. Miss Nettie PEASE of Weston is at work for L. P. SHELDON. Harry ARTHUR of Chester made a flying visit to this place, recently. Wm. SILLEY spent Christmas at home. Miss Marjorie DEY gave a Christmas party to her little friends, Tuesday afternoon. A large party attended J. P. FARWELL's New Years ball, Tuesday evening. At the second shoot of the Londonderry Gun Club, last Saturday, B. SPARROW carried off the honors by shooting six out of ten pigeons. The JOHNSON Bros. held their first singing-school at the school house, last Thursday evening. Jan. 1st witnessed the wedding of Frank SPARROW and Mary WHITMAN, which occurred at the church in this place. As for us, we wish them a happy and long life. News has been received here of the death, in Belvidere, Ill., of George LARRABEE, formerly of this place. He was but 22 years of age, and has for two years been engaged as a fireman on the N.
