L. O. GREENE, editor of the Woodstock STANDARD, has been appointed Inspector of Finance by Gov. DILLINGHAM to succeed C. S. PAGE, the present incumbent, who declined a re-appointment. L. G. KINGSLEY was somewhat surprised, recently, when a young lady stepped into the store and introduced herself as a representative of a wholesale house of Boston which manufactures beds.
