    3. Hi Kathy, from FRONTIER CROSSROADS: the people of Newport, Vermont, by Emily M. Nelson, Vol. 2, ©1978, pages 112-113: "KENDALL AND PRATT At this same time [1886], on November 9, L.R. Pratt was a stonemason in Newport, reporting that the season of 1886 was the best one for his work in twenty-two years, both in the amount of work and favorable weather in which to do it." If your relative was a livery man, I have more information on him from this book. In the index it states that Pratt, Lorenzo R.'s information is on page 113. He was not my ancestor. 1. Re: [VERMONT] Mary C. Brimhall, b. Feb. 25, 1824, Wardsboro, VT
    2. In 1820 census for Wardsboro, VT there are three Brimhall households. One is Ebenezer and wife Sarah and the other two are Gideon and Gideon, Jr. I suspect that Gideon Sr may be the head of the clan with sons Gideon and Ebenezer living nearby. There is a ROOTSWEB WorldConnect ref. to Ebenezer but it doesn't look reliable.Cannot find Gideon after 1840 but Ebenezer in census up to 1870. Possibly Gideon moved west.
