    1. [VERMONT] Wayside Resturant Need suggestions - advice
    2. Harriet Cady
    3. The Wayside is on the Barre Montpelier Rd. and is a left at the lights off Exit 7 when you go into Montpelier in front of the Friendlys.  The pastry is cooked onsite and much of the food also.  My cousin's daughter-in-law works there.  It's on the left going towards Montpelier. 3. Hi, Once Gloria and I went to Barre and right on Main Street, within walking distance of the VHS there is a small style café. It's on the south side. Of course that was years ago and it might have closed. I would think the people at VHS can tell you where to go. 1. [VERMONT] John Spear Young b.Minnesota 1895 >VT>CA
    2. Peter Lodge
    3. John Spear Young born May 1895 in Minnesota the s/o George B.Young and Grace M.Spear. John and his parents first lived at Newport VT then Montpelier VT, John's father, George B. Young, was an attorney. George B.Young and his father, John Young, setup a law firm ~ Young & Young. George B.Young married (2) Mollie Beals.   John Young seems to have left Vermont between 1910 and 1920 and headed for Pasadena CA, where he is listed in the 1920 census as being involved in Oil Investments. Later he seems to have had some involvement with the Stock Exchange?   John Young married about 1921 to Ruth R. unknown she born about 1898 in Nebraska. John and Ruth had a daughter, Dorothy L. Young born 1928/29 in Illinois.   I believe that John Spear Young died October 1959 San Diego CA ~ would like to hear from descendants of this Young family with a view to confirming ancestral lines. Also, John Spear Young had a younger brother, Harold, K.Young born May 1897 Minnesota, Harold was living Montpelier VT in 1920....further information on Harold appreciated.   Thanks Janice Happiness keeps you Sweet, Trials keep you Strong, Sorrows keep you Human, Failures keep you Humble, Success keeps you Glowing, But Only God Keeps You Going!
