But is still standing and in great shape. I remember when I was little and Aunt Retha living in the red house on the hill. And as well, my sisters and I were very close with Perthy....(we called her gramma Perthy.) The items that I have are some beautiful pictures of all the girls and our great grand parent. Also one of 5 of the girls when they were little in front of the house my dad lives in today. I have a couple of painting from Retha and one that she painted for my parents for their wedding. (Of course they have been divorced since I was little) I will have to dig ! trough some stuff at this point in time because I just moved two weekes ago and most of my items are in storage. But I would love to scan these for you and maybe send them so you can take a look. Hope to hear from you soon....I am at work now and will be leaving by 5:00pm my time....How is the weather in NM?? 3. I tried to send this privately but it was rejected. I don't know why, I copied and pasted the address. Sorry I have a copy of the Autumn '52 VT Life. Send me your snail mail address and I'll send it to you. Ruth Jan Thank you so much! And thank JF! YES! These are my ancestors! Nathaniel Severance was my great great grandfather! My great grandmother Maria or Martha grew up on his farm. About which there is a story on the web apparently treasure stolen long ago from the Abenaki was hidden on his farm by soldiers I am thrilled to learn Glen Sevrens was a woman I never knew who Glen was nor could I discover where Glen went. Perhaps now I can trace that part of the family. I will add this to my files. Do you know if it would be possible to find a copy of that article from 'Vermont Life?' -- Ruth Barton mrgjb@sover.net Dummerston, VT
