I recently purchased Family Tree Maker from Ancestry.com. I am a novice, but I have to say, this programs seems more difficult to use than their online interface. Can anyone suggest a good program to organize, edit, and publish a family tree? Thank you.

I have many sons & Brothers of these men same time frame who were correct age(s) to possibly have served also. It is possible that *any* GILBERT's showing might be connected to my people. Looking for information about Balance Rock which is located on Buck Hill in Westfield. I have a copy of the book Westfield in Review 1776-1976 which does mention a bit about this natural wonder but I would like to know more about it's history ~ perhaps there is some Native ~ Abenaki/Algongian, significance to this place?   Thanks Janice
