The STONE family of York County, Va is one of my main interests. William Stone died there in 1729. His wife was Sarah (?). They had children: William b c 1708/10 d 1791 in Lunenburg Co Va) he m 1st Martha Frayzer d/o William. #2 Elizabeth Childers d/o Thomas Childers of Henrico Co. Va. This William Stone moved to Henrico Co, then to Goochland, Cumberland as county lines changed. Then in 1750's he moved to Lunenburg Co where he remained. I have found a reference to a Benjamin Stone who died about 1725 in York County. I have references to William who d 1729 in York as early as about 1716 when he was guardian to Mary Pinketham. Also a few other references about this same time. I would appreciate any information on this man. Thank you. Virginia
