John lived in Gloucester Co. prior to York. 1st wife unknown, 2nd marriage to Elizabeth, widow of Robert Howard of York Co. who died 1791. He married 3rd Ann _____ ca 1800. Children: Molly, John T., George, Thomas, William H., Benjamin S., Eliza B. and Frances. Molly md. Christopher Gayle and they were in Gloucester Co. in 1810. John T. married Harriett _______ . They were in Mathews and Gloucester counties. George died before 1815. Thomas md. Hetty Benston and they were in Norfolk Co. ca 1815. Benjamin and William were in Amherst Co. in early 1820s.
