I am researching the Powell, Tabb, Moreland, and Cocke families of Va. Who were the parents of William G. Powell & Elizabeth Tabb Moreland, and early York Co VA family. Their son was Thomas Jefferson Powell b. about 1807, d. before 1850 York. Thomas may have married a Moss. Thomas J. Powell Sr b. 1807 had son Thomas J. Jr 1835 York VA Thomas J. Powell Jr b. 1835 m. Martha E. Moreland, dau of Lewis, and had a son Thomas Clifford Powell b. 1864 York, who married Lucy Servant Moss.
